Time Management
People underestimate the value of time in their lives and most waste it without thinking or the consequences of what they are doing. There are 24 hours in a day which is 1440 minutes and 86400 seconds. Every person in the world has the same amount of time in each day. The richest people in the world have the same amount of time as you and I but they seem to be able to get more done, make more money or are just generally better off. Why is this? Well it is probably because they utilise all of this time more efficiently.
There are numerous ways to manage time but few of us use systems. Most people just approach each day as it comes with little regard to tine and how they are wasting it. From the moment you are born time works against you as you get older. The average age people live to now is determined to be ninety. Based on that and the fact that there are 24 hours in a day, each year you have 8760 hours in which to live your life and achieve what you want and over ninety years that’s 78840 hours. That may seem a lot but have you noticed how time seems to slip away un noticed? Have you ever looked at your watch and thought, where has the time gone? More >
What I learnt in 2009

What I learnt in 2009!
For me 2009 has been a year of uncertainty, happiness and unhappiness and generally in decisiveness about the future and what it holds. The year started out well I started my fitness challenge, I planned to spend time developing my online ventures and I also planned on addressing my debts and saving some money.
All was well until I returned from holiday in July. I started having problems with my eyesight and to cut a long story short I lost most of my vision in my left eye and was rushed in to hospital to have an operation to correct it. After a five day stay in hospital I had to have two weeks off work and it really limited hat I was allowed to do. Frequent hospital visits followed including a minor operation on my right eye. In the three months that followed I also had six teeth removed which has meant I have inherited a £3000 orthodontist bill for the next 18 months.
I still have regular appointments to have my eyes checked but after the three months of treatment I could return to my normal life. Because I stopped weight training for three months I lost about seven kilos of the weight I put on. Training restarted but it was painstakingly slow because of the amount of strength and weight I had lost. I had to go right back to basics again. Frustrating to say the least! With the help of a personal trainer I am beginning to get back to where I was. More >
Competing with yourself

Competing with yourself
During our lives we encounter many people. We work with them, socialise with them we see random people everyday whilst out shopping or commuting. One thing we do with all of these people is compare ourselves to them and their success. We ask ourselves, do I earn more money than them? Is she better looking than me? Have they got a bigger house than me?
We constantly beat ourselves up over whether somebody else is doing better than we are or whether our lives would be better if we had their lives. Is this really healthy? I would say not. By comparing ourselves to countless other people in the world we often neglect to analyse our true competitor, OURSELVES!
The only person we truly compete with in our lives is ourselves. We are the only person that is really limiting our potential, our success and our chance of having that dream life. The more time we waste comparing ourselves to other people the less time we have to spend tackling our true competitor. So STOP now! Forget the person that lives next door to you with the bigger conservatory and the newer car, forget the couple who drive past you everyday at the bus stop in their brand new BMW, think about you and how to compete with yourself and your own limiting beliefs. How to make people like you

- Six Tips To Make People Like You
Have you ever wondered why or if people like you? It is strange why people like some people more than others and even stranger how they go about liking that person in the first place. MNH36PRKTK5Y
I have thought a lot about why we like certain people and how we go about making them like us in the first place. Now I do not mean that you go out of your way to make people like you and you go to extraordinary lengths and use methods and techniques to achieve this, I am talking about how you genuinely get people to like you by being you and just being the best person you can be. MNH36PRKTK5Y
Obviously if you happen to be arrogant or nasty or spiteful then your chances of being genuinely liked by someone are most likely pretty slim. More >
Ten Tips to master self management
Nov 9th
Managing yourself as a person can be a taxing job. It is certainly one that I have let slip for a while. In fact if I was employing myself I would sack myself. A lot of people do not put enough time into managing themselves and sometimes it is very clear when you see some people that they pay no attention to themselves what so ever. I must admit that I have noticed a lot of small things lately, not just about myself but about people I see everyday and people I interact with over a weekThis got me thinking about myself and areas that I feel need some attention in terms of how I handle myself and how I conduct my life. I have decided there are ten areas I should concentrate on or ten areas I should practice to better my self management. Those are as follows:
1 – Have control of what I say and how I say it. I do not know about you but I sometimes say something to someone without actually thinking about what I am saying and why I am saying it. A lot of thought should be given to what you are going to say to someone. For instance, will it upset them? Is your tone of voice correct for what you are saying? Are you coming across to harsh for the point you want to make? I certainly should be more conscious of what I say and how I say it. More >
